This seminar will examine aspects of qualitative data analysis, including:
• The ways in which a researcher's epistemological position shapes the data analysis;
• Some of the different recommended steps in the processes and practices of data analysis;
• Some of the pitfalls common to qualitative data analysis;
• Strategies for ensuring trustworthiness analysing qualitative data and;
• Strategies for starting to write up the findings
Participants and the seminar facilitator will also discuss illustrative examples and engage in a Q&A session.
