Launch of Large-Scale Concrete Testing Program

The School of Engineering is holding an official Launch of Large-Scale Concrete Testing Program. This Program is the result of an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery grant, which the School was successful in attracting to experimentally and numerically study the progressive collapse mechanisms of concrete flat plate structures. This type of structure represents one of the most common construction system used worldwide and is extensively used in Australian buildings.
